The programmed are aligned to The Fresh Zealand Curriculum through the social sciences, science and technology learning areas, and have online resources which can be utilized by teachers and students when back in their schools.

Discounts available for groups of 15 or more people, Ore booked coach groups, and schools. The Waihi Arts center and Museum present tours for schools and notable interest groups. Despite this, the group collected signatures around town in encourage of the project and in 1962 the Waihi Arts center and Museum Association became a reality. Our Museum operates as a store for the collection, display and preservation of items of historical interest to the Waihi District, particularly items relating to the underground mining history of the area
