The 2 am start line was a test for all competitors to meet and RPM’s Joanna Boardman and Jaki Dwight were keen to take up the challenge. RPM International Tool and Die Ltd have been in operation for 30 years and is New Zealand’s leading largest privately owned Tool Making manufacturer. Due to our customers thirst for tooling and the expansion in our Design department we require a highly skilled Tool Designer with Project Management skills to join the team. Qualified Tool Maker with a minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in manufacturing. Current, relevant experience working as a Tool Designer for at least 5 years.
Full working knowledge, manufacturing and design, of all tool types, press tooling and or plastic injection mold tooling. RPM International are looking for qualified toolmakers with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in manufacturing of Press and or Mold Tooling and precision machining. Preference will be given to those applicants who also have some experience in Tool and Die design and the ability to operate and program NC machines however the role of Toolmaker is the primary focus. Ideally you will be a qualified toolmaker with experience in manufacturing, press stamping tools, plastic injection mold tools, and precision machining.
Coupled with this you will have a proven track record in time management, ability to get on with others in a team environment as well as work on your own without supervision, and possess all of the necessary skills that would be expected of a competent CNC Operator. Is the company ISO registered? We currently validate injection moulds that are too big for the Arburg with a local moulding company
