Onfire Design is a full service, multidisciplinary design agency specialising in Branding, Packaging and Digital. Established in 2005, Onfire has built an enviable reputation partnering with some of Australasia’s leading manufacturers, distributors and exporters. An excellent history of client retention speaks volumes about the way Onfire operates. Between us we have worked for many of the biggest and best companies in both New Zealand and Australia.
Strong brands cut through clutter, differentiate the product and add immeasurable value. The Onfire team has created red hot brands and identities for some of Australasia’s best known companies. Creating powerful packaging that engages the consumer and gets results is a key focus of Onfire Design. Strong packaging is vitally important! It’s where the rubber meets the road, where your product first engages with the customer and you have no more than a second or two to make an impression and switch on a sale.
Over the years we have created exceptional packaging solutions for a wide range of clients like CRC, McPhersons, and CDB, Progressive Foods, Briscoes and The Warehouse. Thankfully he relocated to NZ, aged 13, dropped the accent and promptly discovered the joys of racing a bicycle at speed. He has worked for award winning agencies including The Campaign Palace and Colenso, and was trained in design by one of the giants, physically and talent wise, on the New Zealand design scene, Rob Coats of Coats design. Coatsie taught Sam well! Sammo spent 5 years in London working as a designer on mundane brands like Rolls Royce, Aston Martin and Playstation.
His weekday passion is developing brands that go the distance and weekends are devoted to cycling, fishing and his family. He is, basically, fascinated by the ever changing ways people live their lives with technology. When he’s not happily geeking out with work, he loves cruising in his beloved E63 and spending chilled out weekends on Waiheke Island. After a career developing many of Australasia’s best known brands, Grant adds further strength to Onfire, enhances its brand strategy and creative offering and provides an invaluable resource for Onfire's team and its clients.
A dab hand at ensuring work is delivered on time and on budget, Lisa is the perfect conduit between clients and creative. When away from the desk, Lisa and her husband enjoy living live on their lifestyle block that is also home to sheep, chooks, cows and a couple of teenagers. He has been creative director of Mojo, Colenso and Singletons to name a few, winning numerous international awards including a Cannes Gold Lion and multiple Cleo and Axis awards. He’s been responsible for advertising, corporate design and strategy for some of Australasia’s best known brands.
Frano is also an internationally recognised artist, and has a dramatic piece on permanent display at Te Papa Museum, Wellington. Jon is a proud Sydneysider who takes great delight in the All Blacks losing
