What you should know about Lake House Arts Centre
Lake House Arts is the local arts and heritage learning centre for the North Shore community. The Centre comprises three relocated and renovated historic buildings Lake House and two Fort Cautley Army Barracks from Narrowneck. From within these two buildings a range of art activities and services are on offer to the public 7 days a week. Lake House artists also exhibit at the Spencer on Byron Hotel and Beaver cafe in Takapuna.
We offer a comprehensive arts education programme for adults and children in line with the four school terms as well as weekend workshops, school holiday classes and our ART Experience programme for Schools. Lake House is an ideal venue to hold small seminars, corporate team building days, book or product launches and small functions and has plenty of parking, an onsite cafe and is in close proximity to Auckland City and the Akoranga Bus station
The ca will also be capable to cater for large groups, functions and conferences with several package options being developed along with Lake House venue management. Every week you will do something diverse using fresh techniques and processes including painting, drawing pencil, charcoal, etc. People from all walks of life, all diverse ages and diverse cultural backgrounds have taken part. Make Room is a ingenious space at the Lake House Art center where children are supported to extend and explore their creativity with an emphasis on process and product.
In this laughter class, students will explore cartooning, animation, sketching and drawing techniques using a variety of mediums to develop their artistic skills. wonderful Monster Masks party! Lake House Arts offers an Art Experience programmed aligned with the curriculum we have set themed workshops and shorter programmed available or we can tailor a workshop to your schools needs and learning outcomes. Lake House Arts presents a vibrant and engaging exhibition programmed profiling artists and groups that are both nationally and locally recognized as well as community based and local artistic talents. The outdoor exhibition of finished sculptures will be open to the public to view until the 18th of June. The staff were so cordial and useful when I hired one of the rooms the facilities and access were so flawless for our self catered afternoon tea. Exhibitions in the Be croft gallery run for a least of 4 weeks at a time and a artists can apply either solo or as a group. A one off workshop is a immense way to learn a new ability or try out a new tutor. Our children ' programmed offers a varied range of classes with different tutors and mediums for ages 5 18 years. The Tyndall room is a smaller, wall works only space, often impaired for Friends of Lake House exhibitions and as an extension space for the Huge Art Sale
