His skills were further expanded after four years in the UK working in a highly competitive building industry as a sub contract carpenter and then as a contract manager on large, high end commercial fit outs. The goal was always very clear to develop a company that prides itself on carrying out high quality architectural projects for exceptional clients. For the past four years Henry has been a judge in the Registered Master Builders House of the Year competition. HD Building s attention to quality and craft has also been recognised through numerous awards from the Master Builders Association including a national Category win in 2013
All the floor to ceiling joinery was cedar with concealed tracks in the ceiling, all finishing lines were rebated hardwood skirting with negative details. We demolished the existing bathroom and bedroom and replaced it with a new, elegant bedroom and en suite space, uniquely separated from the rest of the home with freestanding bath, walk in wet room’ style shower and a private balcony. We couldn’t blemish their labor and professional attitude, and would willingly support them to tomorrow clients.
The cabinetry is all handcrafted, made from Gabon Plywood and carries through to the laundry cabinetry as well. One was commissioned by advertising agency Colenso BBDO and takes pride of place in the center of the agency. We engaged AD Building to renovate a rundown 500 sq mere office space into a insignificant hotel. The work is always of the maximum standard and perpetual comes in on time and on budget.
The AD Building team have carried out several projects for us over the last 5 years including a major renovation of our home. They work in a professional, efficient manner, from the costing process through to completion. Their guidance and thoughtfulness throughout our renovation saved us a lot of optional stress. The completed master bedroom en suite walk through wardrobe now has ample space and elegance, taking up the total top floor of the house.
The workmanship of the team and suppliers was of a tall standard they finished the project on time and on budget and we are very glad with the last result. We found Henry and his team to be really easy to work with, exceeding all expectations of quality and professionalism.
