He has over 20 years experience of architectural design and drafting after studying NZCD Architecture in Auckland he worked on various residential and commercial projects in Auckland. Employed by Civil Engineers in Orewa and then with Architectural Designers in Auckland. Starting his career in small practices ensured that the experience was varied and challenging. Duties varied from Soil testing via hand auger drilling off cliff top sites on the Manukau Heads through to remedial work required for the historic tepid baths of Auckland central and the Pump House of Motat.
Travelling abroad in the 1990’s provided the opportunity to visit the great architectural wonders of the world including Gaudi’s works in Spain and the Ramses Temple in Egypt
When tenders are received for construction we lase with the client and aid with selecting the contractor to proceed. The clock on the corner of the historic street has, shattered glass lies in the street and windows are shuttered with plywood, but there is no major structural damage. Fresh Regent St was completed in 1931 and was one of few big construction projects in the South Island during the Depression
