The Security Amount is held in trust by BuildSafe until the contractor has performed its obligations under the contract and then BuildSafe releases the Security Amount to the contractor and the subcontractors, as the case may be, and the service is complete. This is because we believe that all home owners and builders who are doing building or renovation work deserve to have access to the very best information and services to save themselves and to ensure that the building process is a definite experience.
